Not 'aving it
Peter Kay has banned Manchester United stars from getting into his sell-out shows for free.
The Phoenix Nights star - who's a Bolton fan - said the players had enough money to buy their own tickets, and that he didn't want ordinary fans to miss out.
All dates in his Mum Wants A Bungalow tour sold out within hours, and desperate fans have struggled to get their hands on the precious tickets.
But the Man U stars got their agents to phone up and try to get onto the guest list for Kay's show at the Lowry Centre in Salford, not far from Old Trafford.
A friend told the Sunday Mirror: "He thought it was a real cheek. They've got enough money to buy tickets themselves so why is he expected to give them away?
"Normally people fall over themselves to get soccer stars to their shows or parties. But Peter makes his own rules."
Kay's spokesman confirmed: "We've had calls from players' agents asking for free tickets. But Peter would rather see tickets go to genuine fans."
