Brown hits the road

Arnold Brown has announced a short tour of his native Scotland.

The veteran comic - who performed on the Comedy Store's opening night - will be playing 11 dates next month.

He kicks off his Audience With Arnold Brown tour in Greenock on November 2, winding up in Glasgow on November 17.

A former chartered accountant, Brown only started performing at the age of 42 and his career has included winning the Perrier award and supporting Frank Sinatra at Ibrox Park.

He said: "I'm delighted to be travelling the length and breadth of my home country, meeting the people and, where possible, doing walkabouts."
