Wait for it...
Eddie Izzard has revealed that he will kick off his next tour in New York... but not until November 2003.
His live dates will include the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Scandinavia, France, Germany and Iceland.
This is the first indication of his schedule, and there are still no details of which other cities will be included, or when he will play them.
Izzard made his comment at the New Yorker festival in Manhattan, where he performed a one-off gig at the Bowery Ballroom.
The comic used the show to expound his pro-Europe views, and criticise President Bush over Iraq.
He also complained - mistakenly - that you can't buy Altoids breath mints in the UK, even though they are made here.
* Izzard can be seen on BBC2 on Saturday night as part of a tribute to Spike Milligan, recorded at London's Guildhall last month.
