US satirist set for London shows

Michael Moore is coming to the UK for a string of London shows.

The American satirist had been due to perform at the Edinburgh festival, but pulled out following the death of his mother.

But he will be performing at the Roundhouse Theatre in North London for a "strictly limited period" from November 5. The official opening night is November 18.

The show comes on the heals of his best-selling book Stupid White Men and acclaimed film Bowling For Columbine.

He is known to British TV viewers for shows such as The Awful Truth and TV Nation, and recently appeared on Question Time on September 11.

Tickets have not yet gone on sale for the London shows.
