Woman denies harassment charges

A woman accused of stalking Ken Dodd has admitted sending a dead rat through the post.

But she denies harassing the 74-year-old comic and his long-term girlfriend, Anne Jones.

Ruth Tagg is accused of sending indecent photographs and three T-shirts bearing offensive messages to the couple's Knotty Ash home.

Appearing at Preston Crown Court, 34-year-old Tagg, from Bristol, denied two charges of harassment.

Tagg was remanded in hospital under the Mental Health Act until her trial in November.
