Johnny to marry in US

Johnny Vegas will fly to San Francisco later this month to marry his girlfriend.

The comic is getting hitched to Catherine Donnelly, a 26-year-old interior designer from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, who he met earlier this year.

A spokeswoman for 30-year-old Vegas - real name Michael Pennington - said: "It's true. They are flying to America to get married later this month. They are very happy."

And proud mum Pat told the Daily Mirror's 3am girls: "It is just good to know he has finally found someone and she is a really lovely girl."
