BBC new talent finalists selected

The last finalists in the BBC hunt for new stand-up talent have been announced.

Dylan and Bob Kobe were selected at the last semi-final in London last night.

They now join Paul Kerensa, Gary Delaney, Nina Conti, Stefano Paolini, Ninia Benjamin and Karl Spain for the final in Edinburgh.

Up for grabs is £1,500 prize money, plus the opportunity to work on BBC Choice. Two runners up will each receive £750.

The final takes place in the George Square Theatre on August 12, judged by top names from the comedy world.

It will be screened on BBC1, while all the semi-finals get an airing on BBC Choice, hosted by Jenny Eclair.

The best sketches submitted to a separate BBC Talent hunt will be broadcast at the same time.
