Bob Mortimer to box Les Dennis

Bob Mortimer is to face Les Dennis in the boxing ring for charity.

The televised fight will raise money for Sport Relief when it is screened by the BBC on July 1.

The pair will be wearing protective headguards for the three-round bout.

Dennis told The Sun: "It's the maddest thing I've ever done."

Mortimer added: "It should be a good fight - and it gives me the perfect opportunity to get fit."

The fight follows the success of a celebrity boxing show in the US which featured the likes of former ice-skater Tonya Harding.
