Eye set for DVD storm

Chris Morris's series to hit shops

Brass Eye is set to stir up controversy again - as the entire series is to be released on video and DVD.

All six episodes of the original 1997 series will be included - plus last year's special on paedophilia.

Chris Morris is said to have contributed to a number of extras, including trailers and a commentary, that will be included on the DVD.

The British Board of Film Classification has seen an additional four minutes of material, not previously broadcast, and given it a 15 rating for the DVD.

The video, released on My 6, will be priced £16.99, and the DVD £19.99. However some stores have indicated that they will not stock it.

Last year's addition attracted thousands of complaints from viewers who thought paedophilia was no subject for comedy.

But the original series was not without controversy, as celebrities such as Noel Edmonds complained that by being stitched up, they would be less willing to help genuine good causes in the future.
