Lottery Yin-ner

Billy films Camelot ads

Billy Connolly is to advertise the National Lottery.

The Big Yin has been spotted working on a TV commercial at a couple of locations in Scotland.

He has been filming in North Queensferry, Fife, next to a giant polystyrene statue of himself brandishing a spanner and with a dog at his heel.

And yesterday he donned a granny outfit for a street party scene shot in Leith, Edinburgh.

Camelot chiefs confirmed Connolly was promoting the Lottery, but refused to discuss the campaign.

A spokeswoman told The Daily Record: "We have entered into an agreement with Billy to undertake a range of activities supporting the National Lottery but cannot say what that involves."
