Fast Show announces new tour

The characters from the Fast Show are to tour the UK.

It will be the first time that the show has been performed live since their six-week stinit at London's Hammersmith Apollo in 1998.

Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson, Mark Williams, Simon Day and Arabella Weir will reunite for the 11 dates.

Whitehouse said: "I am looking forward to the tantrums, tiaras and the trinkets especially the trinkets."

And Higson added: "I spent six years touring as a pop singer in the 80's and it's exciting to think that I can now relive the experience as a tired and decrepit old man. If Mick Jagger can still do it, then so can we."

The run kicks off at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on September 30, culminating at the Cardiff International Arena on November 17.
