Savage postpones tour

Dates clash with TV commitments

Lily Savage's first tour in four years has been postponed.

The whole 12-week itinerary will be rescheduled after TV recording dates clashed with the live dates.

Creator Paul O'Grady was to kick off the tour in Blackpool, where he spent his early career, on Mach 27.

His spokesman told actors' newspaper The Stage: "It turned out that television schedules would have cut into the latter part of the tour.

"It was therefore decided to put the whole thing on hold and go out later in the autumn.

"Paul is very sorry for any confusion and disappointment this may have caused Lily's fans."
