Skinner secures first UK interview

Frank Skinner has landed a showbiz scoop, by securing the first UK chat show interview with Britney Spears.

The 20-year-old star is coming to Britain later in this month for a special episode of the comic's ITV1 show.

Skinner said: "I'm really chuffed to be interviewing Britney. She is the hottest pop star in the world at the moment, and in more ways than one.

"The big question is will she put her career on the line and do a song with me at the end of the show?"

Meanwhile,Britney said: "I can't wait to come to the UK to meet Frank, I hear he's a bit of a superstar and can be a bit cheeky."

The interview will be screened in late January.
