BBC2 ratings bottom out

Audience still slides, but slower

BBC2's Monday night comedy line-up is continuing to shed viewers, though the pace as slowed.

The Kumars At Number 42 is still the evening's most popular show - but at 1. 9million viewers, it has shed more than a third of its debut audience of 3milllion since its launch four weeks ago.

Steve Coogan's Dr Terrible's House of Horrible continues to be worst hit. It could only muster 1.2million viewers last night - less than half the audience of its opening show.

More people watch Watercolour Challenge.

The spoof, produced by Coogan's own company Baby Cow, is now level with the Stephen Tonkinson sitcom Mr Charity, which has always been the weakest-performing show in the line-up.

The series seems to have stabilised at its 1.2million mark, according to the unofficial overnight figures.

Its audience even rose slightly over the pervious week, but is still well below its 1.6million launch figure.
