Man alive!

Seventies sitcom revived

Seventies sitcom Man About The House is to make a comeback with a new cast.

The remake will star Johnny Vaughan, Amanda Holden and Jane Wall, the Bill star who caused a stir with a see-through dress at a recent awards bash.

Richard O'Sullivan starred as the randy Robin, who shared a flat with two single women Chrissy (Paula Wilcox) and Jo (Sally Thomsett) in the original, which ran from 1973 to 1976.

The show also made stars of Brian Murphy and Yootha Joyce - who played landlords George and Mildred Roper. There is no word on who will take these rolws.

An unnamed source told The Sun: "We plan to make it faithful to the original, while giving it a modern twist.

"The cast will keep the same names and the same sexual frisson will be there. But this time the house will be a trendy high-rise flat."
