Radio Boosh

Double act on the airwaves

The comedy show The Boosh made for BBC London Live radio is to get a national airing.

Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding's surreal comedy is set in a zoo, and also features US stand-up Rich Fulcher.

The duo recorded the shows inside a disused disco in Shoreditch, but needed a soundproof area, so they erected a four-man tent.

But that didn't do the trick, so they lined the tent with stuffed animals which worked a treat until it collapsed.

They finished up recording in the toilet.

The Boosh, which was produced by Dave Gorman's flatmate and collaborator Danny Wallace, will be broadcast on Radio 4 at 11pm from October 16.
