Manchester line-up confirmed

Ed Byrne, Trev and Simon (pictured), Daniel Kitson, Sean Lock and Parsons and Naylor have all been confirmed for the Manchester Comedy Festival later this month.

The full line-up for the 10-day event has now been published, and also includes solo shows from Julia Morris, Jimeoin, Simon Bligh and Boothby Graffoe.

All the city's comedy venues, including The Comedy Store, The Dancehouse Theatre and the Frog and Bucket are taking part in the celebration, which starts on September 27.

There will also be a free exhibition of comedian's portraits by photographer Andy Hollingworth, and a screening of Paul Merton's short film A Suicidal Dog.
