Vegas gameshow commissioned

Johnny Vegas's gameshow has been commissioned by BBC Choice.

The St Helens comic is to make six instalments of the show, which he first performed at the Edinburgh Festival last year.

Audience members are pitted against each other in the quiz designed to pander to contestants' greed.

The Johnny Vegas Gameshow is part of a raft of new commissions from the digital channel, which is hoping to be rebranded BBC3.
