Jo Brand is to become a radio host.

The comic has been signed up by BBC London Live in a bid to boost ratings, which have slipped since it was rebranded from GLR.

She will start her new show on August 26.

Agony aunt Anna Raeburn has also been recruited by the station, which has also rejigged other shows in its schedules.
