The In Crowd

Stand-ups Robin Ince, Kate Ward, Smug Roberts and Helen Moon are to star in a new six-part Radio 4 sketch show.

The In Crowd has been made by a new BBC radio comedy unit in Manchester. Producer Colin Anderson told Chortle: "The original remit was that the sketches would examine being in or out socially, and this remains at the heart of the show."

Other comics including Stan Vernon, Alex Boardman and Howard Read have also written for the show.

The first episode airs on August 8 at 11pm.
