Feet star steps in

Stand-up gig for Thomson

Cold Feet star John Thomson is making one of his rare appearance on the comedy circuit this weekend.

The face of the Helmann's mayonnaise adverts is performing at the Comedy Store in Manchester on Friday and Saturday as a last-minute replacement for Omid Djalili.

Thompson, who appeared at the venue's opening night last year, is currently living in Manchester, where he is filming the new series of Cold Feet.
