The write stuff
Would-be comedy writers have been invited to a free BBC workshop.
Entertainment producer Mario Stylanides is running the one-day class in Manchester on June 26.
A similar project last year saw three scripts being developed for radio. One is about to go into production, and will star Countdown's Richard Whiteley.
Stylanides said: "I will mainly be talking about writing for radio, but I will cover TV too. It should be fun, informative and will hopefully open doors for people to get their stuff onto the BBC."
