You can see some of Britain's finest comedy talents for free at the recording of TV and radio shows - as well as getting a sneak peak at forthcoming programmes.

Tickets are now available for the following shows. When booking by e-mail, please state which show you wish to attend, the date and the number of tickets you require (four is usually the maximum) as well as your full name, address and daytime telephone number. Sometimes shows have minimum age limits, so check if in doubt.

The World Stands Up

Free tickets for a stand-up comedy show featuring top club comedians from Britain, America and Australia. Line-ups have yet to be announced.

The shows take place at The Clapham Grand, opposite Clapham Junction station at 7pm
on February 27to March 2 and March 6 to 9. It's cabaret seating and standing room, and the bars will be open all night.

The programme features chart bands, comedians, and celebs as guests and tapes every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from November 15 to March 10.

There's a recording at 12.30pm every day, with an second at 5.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

It is taped at The London Television Studios on The South Bank, next to the National Film Theatre. Over 16s only.

29 Minutes Of Fame

Thenew, primetime BBC1 TV comedy show from the creators of Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Each week, two teams of three comedians take a giant comedy pin to the over-inflated world of fame. Whether it's Einstein or Eminem, Reagan or Rooney, Jude Law or Jordan, if they're famous they're fair game. Top comedians (and maybe a brave celebrity or two) show off their knowledge about other famous people.

Bob Mortimer will be hosting the show, and will be joined by team captain Jo Brand
