Jim Gaffigan CDs up for grabs

Jim Gaffigan’s new CD Mr Universe has recently been released by Comedy Central – and we have ten copies to give away.

Recorded in Washington, this – his eight album – touches on his favourite topics of laziness, food (subway and McDonald’s here) and the chores of parenting – while the title, Mr Universe, refers to his routine where he muses on the predictability of bodybuilding shows.

Meanwhile, the stand-up and its reactions are commented on using Gaffigan’s trademark whispered voice, supposedly representing the inner monologue of a disgruntled audience member.

The comic has just signed up to make a pilot of a sitcom based on his life as a father of a large family who lives with his wife and five kids in a two-bedroom New York apartment
