Win Good Life DVDs

To mark its 35th anniversary

The first series of The Good Life is being released on DVD to mark 35 years since the evergreen sitcom was first broadcast – and we have six copies to give away.

Acorn Media’s two-disc release, out on Monday, features digitally re-mastered episodes of the comedy starring Richard Briers, Felicity Kendal, Penelope Keith and Paul Eddington.

Created by John Esmonde and Bob Larbey, the programme ran for four series from 1975 to 1978 and pre-empted the trend for sustainable living by decades.

The other series will be released, in order, throughout the rest of the year.

But to stand a chance of winning one of our copies – worth £19.99 – just answer the following simple question by 5pm on April 12, when we will select the winners at random from all correct answers received.. Good luck!

What was the name of Penelope Keith's character in the Good Life?
