Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Louis Ramey started performing comedy while in college, and in 1999 was named best new artisit at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He featured in an episode of Comedy Central Presents two years later. And in 2008, he was placed fifth in the sixth series of NBC reality show Last Comic Standing.
