Katherine Lynch began her performing career on the Irish gay scene, where her country music alter ego Tampy Lillette won Miss Alternative Ireland in 1998. She had two character series on RTE2 in 2008 – Working Girls and Wonderwomen; and an ‘audience with’ show at the end of the year. Another series, Katherine Lynch's Single Ladies, followed in 2010 and she took part in Dancing With The Stars in 2017.
