‘You made it look easy'
Chris McCausland came sixth in the leaderboard in his second appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last night.
He and his dance partner Dianne Buswell scored 29 points out of a possible 40 for their foxtrot to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy by The Tams.
Judge Motsi Mabuse, who gave the pair seven points, told the comedian: ‘You made it look easy, smooth and controlled but maintain your frame.’
Awarding eight points, Shirley Ballas praised Buswell’s teaching of her blind partner as ‘off the scale’.
Matching her score, Anton Du Beke praised McCausland for being ‘smooth across the floor, wonderful feet and timing’.
Even resident meanie Craig Revel Horwood awarded six, but found some praise, telling the comic: ‘Your fingers bothered me, splayed like bananas on her back… but I love your spirit and musicality.'
Their score means the come in the top half of the 15 couples for the second week running.
