Early star puppets included Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, Ken Livingstone, Princess Diana, Steve ‘Interresting’ Davis and David Owens and Steel. The show regularly attracted 15 million viewers to ITV1, and featured the voices of Chris Barrie, Harry Enfield, and John Sessions – among others.
