Put Brass in pocket

DVD sets to give away

The classic Eighties ITV comedy Brass is out now on DVD – and we have five copies of the five-disc set to give away.

The epic series, starring Timothy West, parodies both gritty Northern drama and Brideshead Revisited-style period drama over 32 episodes.

In the elaborately-plotted comedy, the scheming of ruthless mine, mill and factory-owner Bradley Hardacre is hampered by his gin-sodden wife Patience and the rest of his dysfunctional Lancashire family, a story contrasted with the abject poverty of the Fairchild family.

The three-series set has been released by Network at £39.99 – and has a running time of about 800 minutes.

But to stand a chance of winning a compy, answer the following question by July 16, when we will select a winner from all correct answers received. Bulk entries will be disqualified.
