Jody Kamali: Backpacker Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2007
Jody Kamali: Backpacker

Jody Kamali, the half-Iranian, Bristolian comedy actor, brings the comedic essence of travelling to the stage in a one-ma, character comedy show.

Backpacker‚ is told through five characters: Roddy the untravelled American, Abraham, the patriotic, unappreciative, haggling Israeli; Matt, the Bristolian Plasterer; Toni, the former size 6, now size 20, Microsoft events organiser; and Ricky Rinser, the sex crazed, body obsessed, personal trainer.

The characters are based on real people Jody met during his recent travels to Central Latin America.
