I visited the hifi club in leeds last Saturday and Paul was the headlining act. His opening lines were well received after a somewhat energetic entrance! His material was all very topical and he wasn't afraid to go near the knuckle, making references to himself as being "Jade Goody after reinventing herself", and "some his best friends being poppadums". He quickly built a rapport with the audience after tearing into the unlucky victims in the audience, some of which, quite deservedly. His observations on life were hilariously funny and went down a storm. I strongly recommended you catch one of his shows if you get the chance, a very, very funny man!
