Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, Debra-Jane Appleby feels betrayed. Growing up in the seventies and fed on a constant diet of Tomorrow's World, Doctor Who and Star Trek, she had certain expectations of what life in the twenty-first century would be like. In 1977 at the age of nine she had to write an essay imagining life in the year 2000. Her childhood predictions just didn't happen. So, Where Did It All Go Wrong?
