Which comedians are making Hay?
Bridget Christie, David Baddiel, Dara O’Briain and James Acaster are among the comics playing the upmarket Hay festival this summer.
They will be providing some comic relief with their stand-up performances, to contrast with such heavyweights as Gordon Brown, Michael Gove, David Milliband and Michael Wolff, who has chronicled the chaos in the White House.
David Walliams will also be there in his role as a children's author, while other comics taking to the stage include Russell Kane, James Campbell, Shazia Mirza and Rachel Parris, plus podcast offerings from Deborah Frances-White with Reluctant Feminist, and the 'Scummy Mummies' Helen Thorn and Ellie Gibson.
The festival runs from May 24 to June 3 in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, and the full programme is available on its website/
