Courtney Cox works on ITV sitcom
Courteney Cox is reportedly developing a new sitcom for ITV.
The Friends star is set to shoot a pilot of the show next year with British production house Big Talk.
Provisionally titled Truthing, the comedy is set in a new age healing retreat led by a charismatic American founder.
The series will be written by Mark Chappell, whose credits include The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and the snooker comedy-drama The Rat Pack. He has also been working on a six-part series called Bliss, which he co-created with David Cross.
According to Hollywood website Deadline, which broke the news, ITV won the rights to the series in a 'competitive situation' with other broadcasters.
After Friends, Cox had a hit with Cougar Town, which has just ended its six-season run, leaving her free to work with Big Talk, whose credits include Rev, Spaced and Raise By Wolves.
