David Baddiel, Nicholas Parsons, Isy Suttie, Phill Jupitus, Jon Holmes and Bob Servant are among the names appearing at this year's Chortle Comedy Book Festival.
Tickets have just gone on sale for the event, taking place over the weekend of November 7 and 8, with day and weekend tickets available.
Events being staged at Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre in Crouch End include the following.
• David Baddiel with an entertaining introduction to his new children's book, The Person Controller
• Isy Suttie exclusively previewing her debut memoir, The Actual One, two months ahead of its publication
• Nicholas Parsons sharing anecdotes from more than 60 years of Just A Minute
• A rare stage show from bestselling author and BBC Four star Bob Servant, with creator Neil Forsyth bringing the creation to life with a full supporting cast
• Phill Jupitus and a panel of comedians revealing what it takes both practically and mentally to make it in comedy
• The Now Show's Jon Holmes sharing stories of Graham Norton's toilet, run-in with Margaret Thatcher's security detail and being accidentally shot in the face from his autobiography.
• Robin Ince presenting chilling stories from the new edition of Dead Funny, featuring tales of horror written by comedians
• Rare material from the archives of Hitchhikers' Guide author Douglas Adams
• Helen Lederer presenting extracts from her acclaimed debut novel, Losing It.
• And comedy shows from The Story Beast – nominated for best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe this year – and James Veitch, whose exploits with online scammers has just been published in a book, Dot Con.
Finally, in a free event, top entrants from the PG Wodehouse New Comic Writer Award will be invited to read their short stories.
The Chortle Comedy Book Festival, now in its third year, is the only event of its kind dedicated to comedy books.
