Huh-huh... that's cool
Beavis and Butt-Head are to return to TV after a 14-year break.
Creator Mike Judge has written 30 new episodes of the animated characters for MTV, which will be aired this summer.
The dropout teenagers – who slouch in front of the TV chuckling mindlessly as they watch music videos – first appeared in 1993.
Over the next four years, Judge – who went on to create King of the Hill – produced 200 episodes, voicing both characters. The show was sold to more than 30 countries, including Britain, and spawned a 1996 film Beavis and Butt-head Do America, co-starring Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
Some critics have questioned the wisdom of reviving a series that was very much of its time, but Justin Bieber has tweeted: ‘BEAVIS and BUTTHEAD are coming back!!!’ – even though he was only three when the last episode aired.
