Jordan's fury over Frankie Boyle gag
Katie Price has angrily criticised Frankie Boyle for making an offensive sick joke about he disabled eight-year-old son.
She and ex-husband Peter Andre have declared that they are ‘absolutely disgusted and sickened’ by the joke, which aired on Channel 4’s Tramadol Nights on Tuesday.
And she said that she has asked her lawyers to see if any further action can be taken.
Boyle’s joke was: ‘Jordan and Peter Andre are still fighting each other over custody of Harvey - eventually one of them will lose and have to keep him.
‘I have a theory about the reason Jordan married a cage fighter - she needed a man strong enough to stop Harvey from fucking her.’
Harvey, Price’s son with ex- footballer Dwight Yorke, has a condition known as septo-optic dysplasia, which makes him blind, He is also on the autistic spectrum, gains weight easily, and finds walking difficult.
Price issued a statement on her website saying: ‘Harvey Price is a little miracle… If Mr Boyle had a tenth of his courage and decency, he would know that to suggest, let alone think funny, that Harvey may sexually attack me is vile and deeply unfair. Mr Boyle clearly has serious issues and those that give him a TV platform to say such disgusting things need to look at themselves very honestly.’
Andre's representative added: ‘We're all disgusted by these comments. Peter is angry and very upset at Harvey being mocked in this way. Children, especially a disabled youngster, should be off-limits.’
Channel 4 said: ‘People know what to expect with Frankie. We make it very clear about what type of content his show contains.’
Earlier this week, Boyle angered fans by refusing to offer refunds or organise an alternative show for the 4,500 people who couldn’t get to his last gig in Glasgow because of poor weather. Meanwhile, audiences for Tramdol Nights have slipped by a third.
