Horne again

'Second series' for Horne & Corden

Horne and Corden look set for a second series of their BBC Three sketch show – despite receiving a mauling by the critics.

Whatever the reviewers thought, the show received 817,000 viewers on its first episode earlier this month – the strongest showing for any comedy debut.

However, it has slumped in the rating since then, with episode three pulling in a more modest 480,000 viewers.

The corporation now says it is in ‘advanced discussions’ over another series, although the final green light has yet to be given. But the programme will not be promoted to BBC Two, as had been tipped.
