Mickey Hutton is fucking funny! Some of these comments are absolute bollocks.

Big Red, February 2008

Was the MC at The Comedy Store in London last night. Did the usual "where you all from?" and proceeded to slag off wherever they said by pretending to be posh or rough depending upon where they said. Picked on the usual suspects in the audience eg Prince Harry lookalike which you'd heard 1000 times before. Then decided to call the poor lad's mother ugly. Not big, not clever, not warranted, not necessary and not funny. But doesn't seem to know where the limit is. Time to get a day job and an X-Box for the evenings when you should really be spending in away from comedy audiences, Mickey.

Dave Rotweiler, January 2008

Saw him at Leeds Jongleurs last night. Compering by numbers - "gay boyband, shirt from Matalan "zzzzzzzzz Did far too long before each act. No originality, no charisma. Terrible

rob mac, November 2007

A relaxed and natural presence on-stage, Mickey Hutton makes for an excellent compere. He keeps the show going and warms the audience up nicely. That said, his Geordie patter can get a bit tiresome sometimes and he should avoid taking pops at the staff who work at his clubs - not amusing and never gets laughs.

Alain English, August 2007

I found his book Massive absolutely hilarious and would like to read more.

Karen, November 2006

This Chortle review is so out of date. hutton is a great MC - and a funny comic. Come on Chortle, go see him again

stevemullen, November 2006

Did well in the alien, to a Geordie, environment of Leatherhead Jongleurs making good, even stinging, use of the cultural differences; stereotypes are good for a laugh. Energetic - covered most parts of the stage, standing, sitting, lying down but hit his targets from whichever angle. An assured compere, well liked by the audience.

Colin Burn, August 2006
