I saw him recently and he's a comedy technician who lacks warmth in his performance and insight in his material. I wouldn't agree with the review saying he's a storyteller, I think this is a bit of a cliche when reviewing Irish comics. He's more of a gag merchant who throws a load of jokes together. He does get the audience on side but he's ultimately bland,uninspiring and forgettable.
