I used to think the Chortle reviews were reasonably accurate, but Graham Hey was booked to perform at a club in Woodford, Cheshire recently and he was absolutely awesome. He was headlining and was probably the best comedian we have had all year. Totally original and hysterically funny. Not only were his one-liners inspired, but his mind reading feats were quite miraculous. It has been a long time since myself and friends have been so brilliantly entertained. I really think you are on drugs at Chortle. I can't be the first to say that you seem to slam everyone and make us all depressed. I am now going to lie down. Karen Wrenshaw, May 2008 |
