I can't understand why anyone would compare Catherine Tate to Little Britain or the Fast Show. Those shows relied on thin characters, obvious visual devices, and of course repetitive and frankly meaningless catch phrases. Tate's characters have real depth, are acted with feeling and imbued with such a life of their own I can't believe Nan, Lauren and Bernie aren't really out there somewhere with their own lives. Nobody believes Vicky Pollard in quite the same way - funny though that character is

She is a funny lady, little bit rude though, but makes us all laugh

Catherine Tate rocks! Her characters are brilliant and she performs amazingly. My favourite sketches are with the dimwit information receptionist on the second episode, which I hope to see more of in the future. Id also like to see more of the useless posh mummy, fabulous. The teenage girl gets a bit too much at times, but its still funny in small doses. Gran is superbly crafted and its hard to imagine there's a young Tate inside that foul-mouthed biddy. I have to defend the show against some of the critisism here. Repetitive catchphrase comedy has always worked for British comedy shows, so Tate's characters are winners. Keep up the great work

Catherine Tate. Oh my god where do I start? I've never seen a comedian like her before! The old nan to Lauren that's never "bovvered"! All of her sketches are great! 10/10 for sure. Can't wait to see more of her stuff.

I really enjoy her show, however, I think that she needs a few more "one off" characters rather than endless regulars. She needs to do more sketches like the drunk estate agent who you never see again and less of Lauren et al who you see every episode

I love the Catherine Tate show i just can't get enough of it. I will never get tired of her sketches as they always seem to get funnier and funnier. She seems to capture the personality of everyday people so you can relate to her characters. Catherine Tate is the funniest comedy i have seen in a long while and i hope she is continues to amaze us for years to come.
