Utterly appalling. The BBC and channel 4 seem determined to prove that there are as many funny women as men, so we get Catherine Tate, Green Wing (produced and 'created' by Victoria Piles), plus that dreadful new thing Feel the Force on BBC2. They are all diabolical. Compare all this drivel to French and Saunders and Victoria Wood and see which you think is best.

We live next door to a couple of elderly gents, who explain their relationship as 'colleagues' now rerired, the wife once indicated she thought them very sweet old couple, to be met by a hissy fit of 'How very dare you!' etc. Cant help thinking Catherine Tate knows them too. Very brilliantly observed.

This is the funniest programme I've seen in ages! The woman is a comical genius. The Detective/Whittaker is one of the best sketches I've ever witnessed. Come on people, you have to be made of wood not to laugh at it. We need more series.

Recently in London I caught the show. Positively brilliant! I hope it comes to the US and soon. My children couldn't get enough of her.

Probably the least funny thing I have ever seen. Her observations have all been done to death by far more skilful comedians. Comedy for people that don't like comedy.
