We've linked up with SoundCloud, a social networking service based on audio, to bring you the sounds of the Fringe, recorded by comedians, industry insiders, and punters.

Users can record clips on their phones, then tag their location and the content, and share with friends or the wider world.

Each day, Chortle will highlight some of the best SoundCloud content from the Fringe on the front page, and you can use this interactive map to explore for yourself what people are recording on the streets of Edinburgh.
